There’s so much going on in this painting. The mom is navigating a massive Urban Arrow cargo bike through central Utrecht on a hot summer day. One young child is in the front bike box, along with an adult or possibly an older child. There’s also a stroller in the box and likely lots of other supplies for the day. Another child rides in the seat behind her mom, poking at her mom’s back — a little mischievous or maybe a little bored.
