Akiva is my son. The last time he visited me in Utrecht I was working at the International Cargo Bike Festival so I brought him along to test out all sorts of new, experimental, fun cargo bikes from around the world. Akiva’s shaggy hair makes me think of a shaggy dog, so I added this exuberant shaggy Golden Retriever in the bike’s front box.
Big dogs need a big cargo bike to ride here in the Netherlands, but I often see smaller dogs in front baskets. Once I even saw a cat!
