Children often spend their first few years in front of their parents’ bikes, pointing out the world to them. It’s so much fun to see the children, who are seeing the world at almost an adult perspective, looking around, and almost always happy. A big bonus is the child is close enough for the parent to talk to them about what they are seeing, and answer toddler questions. I’d love to do a whole series of paintings of children at this age and the way parenting is supported by front seat biking.
